Governance & Integration is talking about organization among Asset/Project/Contractor, How to make this organization strong and robust. Due to view of Owner is different with Contractor. Owner see this project as their investment but the Contractor see this project as a profit center. Owner wanted cost of the project as lower as possible in order money that they already invested can return as quick as possible. The Contractor want to get profit as much as possible.
So, based on that Owner need to develop the scope very keen and explain this scope to Contractor in order both parties have same understanding.
To develop the proper scope of work, we need to develop business case and manage it from the beginning stage. This business case will generate and inform us who is our stakeholder. We have to engage with the stakeholder in order to know what they want. The project manager need to define idea of stakeholder and translate it to become scope of work.
